Searching for a dentist can be tricky as you don’t want to visit one dental office for routine visits and another for cosmetic dentistry or specialized services. Dental Health Services
A visit to the dentist can involve many different services. There are routine checkups that involve X-rays, cleaning, and filling cavities. There are cosmetic dentistry services that include dental braces, teeth whitening, dental bonding, and dental veneers. Finally, there are special services that include treatments like ridge augmentation, implants, oral surgery, and more.
When you visit the dentist for a routine checkup, we may notice that your teeth need additional care. If this happens, we will refer you to a specialist. This could be an orthodontist, a periodontist, or even an endodontist. Fortunately, we provide a free consultation, and our specialists are all at the same location. Another benefit of having specialists at one location is that your dental health file stays at one location, too.
General Dentistry
We are very happy to provide routine teeth cleaning and fluoride treatments when you and your family members come in for your biannual checkup. We do X-rays and check for cavities. For children and teenagers, we often recommend sealants as this prevents future cavities. For small cavities, we perform fillings. Additionally, for cavities that have rotted most of the tooth, we recommend having a root canal.
Patients also come to see us when they have problems grinding their teeth. To help with this, we often recommend nightguards. We can have a nightguard custom-made for your teeth.
Also included in our general dentistry services are dentures for our older clients as well as dental crowns and bridges for those who have chipped teeth.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Alongside our routine dental care, Lovett Dental Conroe provides cosmetic dentistry services. When your kids come for their routine checkup, we can refer them to our on-site orthodontist, who will determine if they need braces or not. We can fit them for braces or retainers. We offer traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, and aligners.
For smokers, look to our cosmetic dentistry services for teeth whitening. We use products with up to 43% peroxide, and our in-office treatment is professional and efficient. We also provide at-home kits that are between 3-20% peroxide.
Included in our cosmetic dentistry services are veneers. If you have gaps in your teeth or your teeth are too small, veneers can be an ideal way of transforming your smile. We use a thin layer of porcelain that bonds over your teeth.
Special Services
Lovett Dental Conroe is proud to have specialized services alongside our general dentistry services. This is where we will refer you if you have missing teeth and need dental implants, for example.
We can also refer you to our periodontist if you need your crowns lengthened or you’re having issues with gum disease. We provide scaling and root planing services to those suffering from gingivitis.
If you or a family member has an oral pathology, we can treat it here with surgery. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons can do bone-grafting, treat tongue-tie issues, and provide a biopsy to determine the extent of your oral condition.
We also provide ridge augmentation. Sometimes, losing a tooth or teeth causes bone loss, and this bone loss results in jaw recession. When this happens, your jaw curves inward, causing an indent. We can fix this with ridge augmentation.
